To whom it may concern:
Please, don’t feed your hamster hot dogs. And if you’re going to look up Attack on Titan porn, go incognito. Also, I like men in lingerie too.
THE PORN WASNT ME BUT THE HOTDOG THING WAS. I WAS REALLY CURIOUS OKAY. I DONT KNOW HOW YOU FOUND THAT BUT….
The search history is saved when you’re signed into the breeding e-mail. Youtube history too, I believe. Anything associated with Google, really.
So, PLBC artists. What kinds of prompts do you guys like?
I keep trying to mix it up, I have a big list of things written down I’d like to do for prompts, but I’m curious what artists like to do.
Do you guys prefer realistic animal designs? Or do you like doing stylized art? Do you like to have a really good idea of what the commissioner wants (perhaps with references?) or do you like a lot of artistic freedom?
I keep debating putting “artists choice” for some colors, but I’ve heard a couple artists say they don’t like it (not necessarily from the PLBC team).
I’m also curious if artists would mind a prompt like “Color with your eyes closed.”(But you can open your eyes between picking brushes/etc.) I’d like to do one of these, but I’m not sure how the artist would take it. I really like trying to draw things with my eyes closed, and seeing the basic concepts there, just in the wrong spots/overlapping usually, it makes me laugh, but also usually looks pretty cool.
I also like giving a style, but not a specific mark, like…. Impressionism, abstract, different tribal styles (I’ve got one already that’s Cree, but I’m also probably going to have one Kwakiutl and one Noongar, but I’m totally interested if people have other tribe suggestions!)
My favorite kinds of prompts are ones that give a lot of freedom. I obviously love artist choice because it lets me choose a theme that I’m best at. I also love doing abstract designs and animal markings (even if the colors aren’t realistic).
I generally do not like doing landscape/scenery or oddly specific things like delicate-glowing-post-apocalyptic-dragon?? Like sometimes I am just very confused with things like that. I also do not like tribal themes. If you’re specific about it, that’s fine, but straight “tribal” really makes it difficult to know what you want.
Now that the artist event deadline has come and gone (and I somehow managed to finish everyone’s despite computer problems @__@), time to start working on coloring teos! Probably going to finish a few batches this weekend, so be on the lookout for them. :3
